Unfortunately for them, as with every species that had discovered the deadly secret before them, it was the last thing they ever did. The evolutionary search was over. Breathing suddenly seemed so over-rated.

The Answer - The First Book in the TATLAUE Trilogy

Follow the hapless exploits of K as he travels hundreds of miles across a deserted planet towards The Chun, a five-hundred mile upturned pyramid that floats a hands breadth above the surface of the planet of Vacchion.

K, tiny alien electronic device in his overall pocket, starts his lonely and potentially dangerous 200-mile journey through the thick forest towards the unmistakable landmark of The Chun, knowing that this is the most logical place for his surviving colleagues to gather and be rescued. He had no idea he was the only survivor on the planet’s surface and that his orbiting mother-ship was currently the recipient of assault of immense magnitude. The Rogue Nation Barbarians had been observing the Republic’s arrival with great anguish. They had been searching for Vacchion’s powerful secret for twelve years and were not willing to give up their painstaking search to the self-righteous Republic.

After a sequence of bumbled events during which K repeatedly faints from cowardice, he acquires a smelly over-grown rodent as a travelling companion who will prove more valuable to K than he ever thought possible. Together they manage predominantly by pure chance, some luck and virtually no judgement to continue their journey with some unexpected success...
